Drama Queen
The WaPo catches up with Fairfax high school senior (and PFLAG hero) Sabrina Audrey Jess, authoress of the one-act coming out drama "Offsides," now being featured at the Actors Theatre of Washington's "Mondays in May" reading series. (Hat tip Andy Towle.)
The Bhaus profiled Jess back in February when her school play -- "a 20-minute drama characterized by brief, intense scenes of very earnest dialogue" (and a really brief gay kiss) -- got a predictable rise of the Va. brigot brigade, including one Dick from the General Assembly. Glad to see she's doing well and off to acting school at VCU in the Fall.
