Those Who Criticize, Can't - Slate.com summed up Bush's argument against a Kerry presidency thusly: Because Kerry has criticized the war, he's not fit to lead it.

"I don't see how you can lead this country to succeed in Iraq if you say wrong war, wrong time, wrong place," he said. "What message does that send our troops? What message does that send to our allies?"

In other words, even supposing the Iraq war or its rationale or its execution were wrong, we are stuck not only with the consequences, but also with keeping the same guy in charge who made all those "colossal" mistakes. The logic of such an argument is stunningly mendacious. It is also the sort of thing you'd expect from a man whose personal failings and character flaws have resulted in exactly zero negative repercussions. Dubya better be looking over his shoulder, because karma is a bitch.
