Bossman Bloggerman

After recent hype about line employees getting fired for blogging about their workplace, the appearance of web logs written by CEOs comes as an ironic twist. But I wouldn't expect a whole lot of boardroom gossip in these frequently dry publicity stunts.

In other work-a-day news, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that "studies in Europe, Japan and the U.S. have linked increases in cardiovascular risks and disease to a global push for greater productivity, as the longer hours, faster pace and insecurity typical of many new jobs take a toll on workers' hearts." As if I needed another reason to slack off.
