Curse You, Examiner!

After a rough start to their first edition -- come on, Celine Dion? -- the front page designers of Washington's newest free tabloid snagged my attention this morning with a banner photo of an attractive, scruffy young man. (The story was about young Army deserters in Canada.) Throw in a cover article about DC's proposed domestic partnership law, comic book art and a photo teaser about Steve Jobs' mp3 lawsuits and the upstart Express competitor may just have a chance. (No, not really.)
