The latest word is that because of skyrocketing costs, the original stylish design is being abandoned in favor of "a Soviet-style bridge, and it's going to result in an aesthetic Chernobyl." With a vivid description like that, how can you *not* justify tolls of $15 each way to pay for a pretty bridge?
