RIP, Reggie White

Former NFL Pro-Bowler, defensive end and ordained minister Reggie White died of sleep apnea yesterday at the age of 43. A darling of the bigot brigade, Rev. White appeared in one of the first high-profile ad campaigns in favor of "change therapy" promoting the "ex-gay" movement. His opinions on the subject became news when he railed against homosexuality in a 1998 appearance before the Wisconsin legislature.
