Centers of Power - I just learned that the low-key Bush-Cheney '04 headquarters, home of not-gay campaign manager Ken Mehlman, is located adjacent to the apartment complex Jamie and I used to live in at Arlington Courthouse. Apparently, this places it amidst "defense, intelligence, and oil industry companies and lobbyists." Never guessed we had such nefarious neighbors, back when we'd walk to Brooklyn Bagels on Saturday mornings for hangover food. Now that he works downtown, maybe I should take Chrisafer to lunch outside Kerry's McPherson Square HQ sometime.
