Gay IPO - PlanetOutPartners, the parent company of Gay.com (and once a suitor of Advocate publisher LPI) made history Thursday by becoming the first business focusing exclusively on the queer market to go public. (I'm not sure it's accurate to call the company "gay-owned" since the founders brought in several rounds of venture capitalists before getting to this point.) The don of gay Wall Street Walter Schubert also weighs in, and for all you day-traders out there, the symbol is LGBT. (Cute, huh?)
