Thank You Sir, May I Have Another? - There's a nice point-counterpoint out today on W and gay marriage, pitting my old prof Glenn Reynolds against the web's "number one conservative gay blogger" Andrew Sullivan. I tend to side with Drew's cynical view rather than the more foregiving Instapundit, who readily admits he doesn't have a dog in this hunt. It just escapes me why Mr. Compassionate Conservatism can't seem to say anything nice thing about homos even as he pushes constitutional bans against our relationships. I think he and Rove would be surprised at how well we'd take a kick in the head as long as they apologized afterwards. (See the Kerry position on same-sex marriage for an example.)
