Too Bad Heather Locklear Wasn't Free - And from the "Can this show be saved?" category comes word that an old favorite that lost its luster is making a valiant effort to come back from the dead. Last season's Aaron Sorkin-less version of The West Wing was often painful to watch, but they're trying to bring in some new blood by adding Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits to the cast. We'll see how successful this transfusion is in the fall.
