Just Shocking! - Normally you wait until 4:30pm on a Friday to drop a big gay bomb like this one, in which married father-of-two Governor James McGreevey (D-NJ) comes out of the closet and resigns amidst rumors of a sexual harrassment suit to be filed by male former advisor Golan Cipel.

UPDATE: I don't think I agree with BfT that McGreevey as resigned because he thinks a homo can't be governor. Rather I side with those who warn that this story is about to get a lot worse, and that Jimmy's most-public-coming-out-speech-ever is going to rank as the high point of this whole Jersey style political wallow. My guess is we'll hear enough about corruption and cronyism to make us almost forget there was a gay angle to this story when it broke. It's a shame for sure. Not only did the guy mess up two marriages, and the kids that went with them, but he may well become the worst gay poster boy since Michael Kopper. And that will be the real reason he resigned. Sigh. But as I've gone on record as stating before, those woofy Israeli military types are hard to resist.
