Wolf Trapped - With free tickets to the firm's box seats, Jamie and I paid our first ever visit to the Filene Center on Tuesday night to check out the touring trio of drama queen troubadour Rufus Wainright, FM-friendly rockers Guster, and punk pianist Ben Folds (a sort of yang to Tori Amos's yin). Here's a review of the performances by the Washington Post. As Brian and Jason would surely agree, it was a pleasant evening in a gorgeous setting. The show really brought out the young, hip "geek rockers." Rufus was cool to see, Guster did some fun covers (and what's with all the bongos?) and BF was just awesome. The homos in the crowd (there were a few) certainly enjoyed his Wham! duet with Wainright. Guess Ben didn't need the Five after all.
