Animated Outing - The biting social satire isn't far behind reality as Matt Groening and other members of The Simpsons team announced today that an outing and gay marriage are to be expected from the series next season. There's been much speculation as to the orientation of Smithers, but I'm betting that it's actually Lenny & Carl who turn out to be the happy gay couple.
