"Boston's Big Dig Isn't the Only Hole That Is Famous Here" - Boston, Massachusetts hosts this week's Democratic National Convention. And what is one of the most notable features of Beantown? In this hotbed of gay marriage rights...this city in this city filled with historic sites...what notable feature do the AP and WSJ highlight today? The fact that it's got a freakin' lot of donut shops: one for every 5,750 residents in fact. I do have to admit to an affinity for the Boston Cream variety of Dunkin' Donuts. We don't really have Dunkin Donuts out west and, hype aside, Krispy Kreme's doesn't compare.

(Amended to fix the donut shops per capita typo)
