The View from Simi Valley - With the details of the Reagan memorials being executed, I asked my mom if she was going to go pay her respects at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley (previously most notable for being the site of the Rodney King trial). The Reagan Library is in my parents back yard. She said no, but that it was a relief that he had died now...her charity organization has a fundraiser scheduled at the Reagan Library in the spring and whenever they signed a contract, the group had to agree that they'd cancel their event if Reagan died and the Library had to be closed for the funereal events.
