Game "Days"

Today is GLSEN's annual GLSEN "Day of Silence" event, where students hand out cards rather than speaking aloud, to demonstrate the isolation that many gay youth feel. I'd be really interested to know how this activism actually plays out for most gay kids. I'm not sure I would have participated as a closeted high schooler. But, with the advent of a conservative-sponsored "Day of Truth," highlighting the "sinful and shameful gay lifestyle," I probably would have been more willing to take a stand against organized homophobia.
