Smoke Alarm - Word from the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association's annual conference the percentage of young gays and lesbians who smoke is nearly double the national average among teenagers. Well, duh, they've got to do something to keep themselves occupied while they're drinking, right? Or maybe they smoke because they don't wanna be fatties? Perhaps the real reason is that gay teens more suggestible and more apt to cave to peer pressure than other kids their age.
