Naturalized Citizen in Chief - Even though the proposal doesn't seem to have legs, there was a fun Senate hearing yesterday about the possiblity of a foreign-born President. Naturally, Governor Schwarzenegger's name came up, but "just twice" during the hearing. The participants covered a number of scenarios, including "the desire of foreign children adopted by American parents to be eligible for the presidency." Nevertheless, two of the six Members of Congress who testified in favor of the ideas not only represent California but are also buddies of the Governator: Darrell Issa and Dana Rohrabacher. Hmm...maybe it is about Ahnuld after all?
