Do Boycotts Work? Ask Terry Rakolta - Dax asked a great question in the comments of the previous post: What happened with that Boycott for Equality scheduled for last Friday, October 8. I must admit that the boycott completely fell off my radar: I went to work and spent cash at the grocery store that evening (and the chicken potpie in a pumpkin turned out terrifically, thanks for asking). I certainly don't think I was the only one to forget, because my Google Search for boycott for equality, revealed 76 articles, but only two stories from the day of the boycott and none posted after it had occured. I'd be fascinated to know if there was any significant impact of any kind as a result of this campaign. But I'm quite doubtful that there's much of anything to report.
