What outrage? - Things don't look good for the sky-is-falling theory. While gay marriage makes the front page of the Washington Post, only at the NYTimes does the story take the lead over the latest Baghdad suicide bombing. The LATimes doesn't even bother to front it, and there was no mention on the top-of-the-hour NPR news this morning.

Let's face it - a bunch of 'mos getting married isn't going to be the hottest topic (our cultural currency notwithstanding) unless it's a slow news day. I'm thinking the Federal Marriage Amendment's chances are fading as fast as the story's staying power.
