If Nobody Is Watching, Does the Pronunciation Matter?

Some say Turin. Others say Torino. But if the viewing public is watching American Idol, instead of the winter games, does it really matter?

The vote is in, America, and you've chosen Randy, Paula and Simon over Bode and Jeremy and Johnny (no matter what NBC may claim). After sitting out the last two seasons, I'm back on the Idol bandwagon. Perhaps it's because I am harboring singing fantasies of my own. But clearly, I'm not the only one back on the bandwagon.

For the record, based on asthetics alone, I'm voting for Chris Daughtry.
