In the newspaper coverage of the fact that TV Guide is going to drop listings and increase from digest size to a larger format, I was very pleased to see that the LA Times, NY Times and Washington Post all avoided quoting Professor Robert Thompson.

While Quoteboy, as the director of Syracuse University's Center for the Study of Popular Television is known to some, I'm gratified to know that I'm not the only one who loathes this guy and the lazy reporters who rely on his obvious commentary.
