Maybe Enough Is Enough
Could back-to-back moral victories in the Virginia Senate -- where committees defeated two obnoxious House-passed bills banning gay adoption and gay-straight alliances -- combined with this week's withdrawal of the "vaginal intercourse" license plate bill, mean that the tsunami of anti-homosexual sentiment is finally ebbing in the Old Dominion?
Of course, our dear leaders already shot their wad with the constitutional marriage amendments they just passed. Come to think of it, HJ586 and SJ337 are just slightly less anti-gay as last year's HB751. Splitting hairs, sure, but is the General Assembly getting soft on faggots or something?
