Gays, Liberals Infiltrate Bunny Cartoons for Kids

It's bad enough that homos are writing kids books. W's new Education Secretary Margo Spellings has fired a broadside at PBS for Postcards from Buster, an animated Arthur spin-off and related website, for depicting "divorce, bands with non-English names, Vermont, same-sex couples, rock music, newspaper columnists, and a recipe for hummus." (Boy, it's hard work pandering to those Rovian mobs.)

Since PBS gets money for series through the federal Ready-To-Learn program, Spellings' threats were quickly heeded and the episode was pulled. (Hat tip to our local branch office of the Gothamist empire for noting that SpongeBob isn't the only animated character drawing the ire of cultural conservatives these days.)
