Have a Good Break - In the spirit of not being a blogoholic, and with Ben on vacation in Chicago and Cleveland anyway, Beaverhausen hereby takes a break for the Memorial Day weekend. To tie you over (is that how you type that?) here are some old items from the hopper:

  • Congress is butting its nose in on the nationwide scourge of illicit lockerroom photography via cellphone cameras, but never fear. You can just download amateur porn that someone else took to your mobile.
  • In good news from the world of eduction, the Daily Press is reporting the formation of what has to be one of the first gay-straight alliances in Virginia outside of NoVa. (Better yet, the administration seems to be supportive.) More troubling in several respects is this report about a California high school teacher who showed the whole Berg decapitation tape to his class, and got suspended for doing so.
  • Finally, here's a legal tidbit. Attorneys are starting to run across judges who challenge their arguments by citing to Google. Some scholars are questioning whether "I read it on the Internet" really qualifies under the rules as an outside source whose accuracy "cannot reasonably be questioned."

That's it. Have a great holiday!
